President, Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation
Steve Testa was appointed President of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation in 2017. He joined the Nationwide Children's team in 2014 and served as Senior Vice President and Executive Director.
Testa leads the philanthropic arm of the fourth busiest children's hospital in the country, an institution with patients from 50 states and more than 52 foreign countries, accounting for more than 1.4 million patient visits annually. Nationwide Children's Hospital is ranked in all 10 specialty areas evaluated in the U.S.News & World Report's annual compilation of America's Best Children's Hospitals.
With 16 years of philanthropic experience, he is an acknowledged leader in the industry. He has been a featured presenter at the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy International conference in Orlando, The Woodmark Group conference in Calgary, the University of Pennsylvania, and others. He was selected as a member of 40 Under 40 in 2019 by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
Prior to joining Nationwide Children's in 2014, Steve was Assistant Vice President, Foundation, at Valley Health System and previously a Director of Major Gifts at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He has also been an Executive Director at CCS Fundraising.
Educated at the Catholic University of America, Steve received Certified Fund Raising Executive credentials in 2015.
