Head of School, Canterbury School
David Jackson currently serves as the Head of School at Canterbury School, an age 2-grade 12 independent day school in Fort Wayne. Before arriving at Canterbury, David spent eighteen years as an educator at Oak Hall School, a PK-12 day school in Gainesville, FL. He began his career teaching Latin, and over the course of his 19 plus years in education, he has taught all levels of Latin, as well as AP World History, AP European History, and AP Government & Politics. With the help of his wife Generosa, a Ph.D. in Classical Philology, David built one of the best secondary Latin programs in the country. Beyond his classroom experience, David has served as a World Language Department Chair, Upper School Head, Middle School Head, and Assistant Head of School.
